One of the Area's Most Established Jewelry Stores Opens at New Location
Grand Opening Announcement
Singer's Jewelers is pleased to announce that their new store at 1890 Western Avenue has officially opened. The newly renovated building will allow Singer's to serve their customers in a modern, well-planned location that has easier access and parking.
When asked why they chose that particular location, co-owner Jeffrey Singer related that as a family business they believe in community and wanted to keep their business "at home."
Community Involvement
The Singer Family is no stranger to the concept of community, particularly giving back to the community in which they reside:
- Jeffrey Singer is an EMT with the Town of Guilderland and has served on several boards.
- Linda Singer not only serves on the Board of Directors of the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce, but is the founder and president of Liza's Legacy Foundation.
- Daniel Singer, their son, is a Lieutenant in the Guilderland Fire Department.
Full-Service Jeweler
Singer's carries a large selection of watches and clocks, with many lines including Pandora, Natalie K, and the hot new "elle" line. As a full-service jeweler, they offer:
- New jewelry sales
- Jewelry and watch repairs
- Purchase of estates and unwanted gold
- Redesign of old jewelry into modern pieces
Three Generations of Excellence
The Singer family is a third-generation jewelry business, founded by Abraham Singer 53 years ago in Troy. In 1995, son Jeffrey and his wife Linda opened their location at 1704 Western Ave. Daniel, Jeffrey and Linda's son, is the third generation to enter the business as the store's Sales Manager.
The other family "members" you will see are Jessie and Joey — the official mascots of the store. Jessie is a Giant Schnauzer and Joey is a Miniature Schnauzer, who are typically adorned in another line Singer's offers, "Jessie's Jewels," for the stylish, pampered pooch in your life!
